High-risk sex offender arrested twice in six days

A man deemed a high-risk sex offender was arrested twice by Langley RCMP in the span of six days for trespass and breaking into an apartment.
Back in 2020, Vancouver Police issued a public notice about Michael Wayne Carpenter, who had convictions for three counts of sexual assault with a weapon, three counts of forcible confinement, and three counts of utter threat to cause death/harm.
