Heavy police presence in Campbell River near an elementary school lifted

Campbell River RCMP were heavily involved at a scene near École Des Deux Mondes Elementary School (EDM) on June 5.
“Police are responding to a concern in the community; it does not have anything to do with the school,” said a press release from School District 72 issued at 8:56 a.m. “Student safety is our priority.
