Former B.C. residential school to be demolished

The former St. Mary’s Residential School on Lougheed Highway in Mission is expected to be demolished next year.
According to a notice from the Stó:lō Collective shared by Tsawwassen First Nation on Saturday (Sept. 5), full deconstruction of the site is slated for 2027 with a proposed Interpretive Centre projected to open to the public in 2028.
