Floating RV on B.C. river sparks social media speculation

A homemade “houseboat” on a South Surrey river has stirred up some attention on local social media community groups.
Comprised of an RV sitting on a raft made of barrels, what appear to be aluminum or steel beams, and strips of plywood attached together with some kind of straps, the floating vessel is moored on the Nicomekl River in Surrey, near Nicomekl Portage Park and the old Elgin Road bridge behind the Crescent Road Esso.
On social media, photos of the project started circulatin
