Fire at Duncan apartment complex leaves 1 dead, 4 hospitalized and dozens displaced

An overnight fire at the Gala Vista apartments in Duncan has resulted in one death, several injuries, and displaced roughly 50 people.
“I can confirm that the BC Coroners Service is investigating a death related to this incident,” said BC Coroners Service spokesperson Holly Tally.
She said that as the coroner’s investigation is ongoing, any additional details could not be shared.
