Ernest James (Jim) Slotte

July 17, 1944 – August 18, 2026We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jim Slotte on August 18, 2026 while recovering from surgery in the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria.
Jim was born in Nanaimo to Ernest Slotte and Isabella (nee Baines). He was predeceased by his sister Elve Moore (nee Beck). Jim leaves behind Astrid (nee Einarsen), his wife and partner of more than 60 years, and their three sons, Vincent, Brent and Jason.
