Dwindling Cowichan Royal Canadian Legion branch merging with Chemainus

The Cowichan branch of the Royal Canadian Legion is in the process of amalgamating with the Chemainus branch.
David Goddard, vice president of the Royal Canadian Legion, Cowichan Branch #53, told Duncan’s city council at its meeting on Nov. 24 that in the past decade, the branch has worked through some challenging times and, presently, it is not sustainable.
