Duncan council votes unanimously to renew permit for The Village transitional housing

Duncan council voted unanimously on June 22 to renew the temporary use permit for The Village located at 610 Trunk Rd., a transitional housing location that supports up to 40 people.
Council authorized the first TUP for The Village back in December, 2021, with Cowichan Housing Association as the original applicant, and use began by January, 2022. The site has been in operation ever since with Lookout Housing and Health Society as the operator.
