Council-approved Telus cell sites will bring better wireless service to north and south Nanaimo

Cell phone coverage will become stronger in north and south Nanaimo after city council broadcast its approvals for two new Telus telecommunications sites.
At their meeting Monday, Feb. 2, council directed city staff to enter into land use agreements and provide letters of land concurrence to Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada for the two sites.
