Business Notes: Nanaimo Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store has extended hours on Thursdays

The Nanaimo Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store is now open more hours.
The thrift store, located in Northridge Village in the city’s north end, is open from from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays, three hours longer than Thursdays’ previous hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Manager Gerry Denis said more people are shopping at the store, which carries gently-used clothing, books, and household goods, so they experimented with extended hours on Wednesdays, which proved to be successful.
