It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Barry Darby, who left us peacefully on May 30, 2025, at the age of 88, at Glacier View Lodge in Courtenay, BC.
Barry led a full and fruitful life. He was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan into a family with one brother and seven sisters. The family moved to Nanaimo in 1944. Barry loved sports and played hockey, soccer and fastball in his youth and later became a minor hockey coach. He we
