3 out of control fires burning in the North Island

Several new wildfires have been recorded in the North Island region.
14 wildfires are burning in the region as of Aug. 17. However, the BC Wildfire Service notes all of them as under a hectare. The majority of them are also classified as being held or under control. Three of them are out of control.
V91619 (Bonanza Lake) is just south of Port McNeill. Currently listed at 0.009 hectares, the suspected cause is lightning. The fire was discovered on Aug. 14.
