Young amputees and their parents gather in Quebec to share advice, support

Dozens of children and their parents are gathering this weekend in Quebec to attend Les Vainqueurs (CHAMPs), a seminar for child amputees put on by The War Amps association.
During the weekend, participants will learn about recent innovations with artificial limbs, how to deal with teasing and bullying, as well as the role of parents of child amputees.
The seminar allows young amputees to discover advice for daily life, including practical health tips and ways to simplify tasks.
