Under $18: Everyday drinking
Terras Do Sado 2015, Adega de Pegoes, Portugal white, $12.60, SAQ #10838801. Even better than the last vintage and $2 cheaper to boot. More focussed, drier and with a more perceptible minerality, with the same white-fleshed stone fruit, and delicate almond and spice notes. For a richer wine under $13, really hard to beat. Grape variety: chardonnay, arinto, antao vaz. Residual sugar: 4.2 g/l. Serve at 10-12C. Drink now. Food-pairing idea: Apéritif, seafood
