While you were sleeping: The Order of Canada, some hockey, and dueling divas

A few things you might have missed while you were sleeping.
Of the highest order: Thirty-two Quebecers are among the 103 new appointments to the Order of Canada announced Thursday by Canadian governor-general Julie Payette — including two honorary appointments to people who divide their time between Montreal and the United States. The 103 appointments include two Companions of the Order, 15 Officers and 86 Members. Among them are engineers, philanthropists, journalists and scientists.
