Retail sales in Montreal were up 1.2 per cent from October to November, Statistics Canada says. That’s higher than in Toronto and Vancouver, the other two metropolitan areas where monthly retail sales are tracked. The result helped push retail sales across Quebec up by 1.2 per cent, month-over-month, a growth rate that was first among Canadian provinces.
