Westbound Highway 40 reopens after accident between car, 53-foot truck

Westbound lanes of the Metropolitain Expressway were closed for more than two hours Saturday morning after an accident involving a car and 53-foot truck shortly before 7 a.m.
The car driver lost control of the wheel on the icy road near Iberville St. and spun into the path of the truck, whose driver was unable to stop, said Geneviève Bruneau, a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
