'We need to learn from it': Events marking mosque shooting begin

QUEBEC CITY — Events marking the first anniversary of the Quebec mosque shooting began Friday morning with a packed conference room standing for a minute of silence to remember the six men killed a year earlier. 
Moments before, the victims were honoured in solemn fashion, their names and ages projected on a screen in white writing against a simple black background: Mamadou Tanou Barry, 42; Abdelkrim Hassane, 41; Khaled Belkacemi, 60; Aboubaker
