'We need to act now': Quebec flood victims promised more help

Quebec Public Security Minister Martin Coiteux admitted Tuesday that the government needs to do more to aid the victims of last spring’s floods.
In the wake of complaints from municipalities and victims over the slow pace of processing claims, Coiteux, flanked by Pierrefonds-Roxboro Mayor Jim Beis, announced new measures that he hopes will speed up the process.
One of those steps includes meeting with all flood victims still waiting for funds, individually in their communities.
Coiteux sai
