Video: Learn about the fight for LGBTQ rights in Montreal
During Montréal Pride, it’s important to engage with the history of the city’s LGBTQ community.
That history includes police repression in the form of violent raids on gay bars from the 1960s through the 1990s, for which the SPVM only apologized in 2017.
