Victor Mete hangs on as Canadiens cut seven juniors from rookie camp

The Canadiens did some house cleaning Tuesday as they sent seven of the eight junior players in their rookie camp back to their CHL clubs.
The lone survivor was London Knights defenceman Victor Mete. He looked good as part of the top defence pair with Noah Juulsen during last weekend’s rookie tournament in Toronto. He’ll probably see action in at least one of the Canadiens’ eight exhibition games before going back to London.
Gone are Alexandre Alain (Blainville-Boisbriand), Wil
