Update: Thunderstorm caused power outages and flash floods in Montreal

Environment Canada has upgraded the severe thunderstorm watch for Montreal and surrounding areas to a warning.
Thousands of Montrealers experienced power outages as a result of a quick thunderstorm that whipped through the city Monday afternoon. 
There was also some flash flooding throughout the city.
An underpass on Hickmore St. and Cöte-de-Liesse filled with water, causing three vehicles to get stuck, according to CTV. 
Firefighters drained the water by opening a manhole.
