Update: Situation returning to normal after gas leak on Queen Mary Road

Several buildings on Queen Mary Road had to be evacuated following a gas leak Monday morning.
According to police chief Philippe Pichet’s Twitter account, it’s was a major evacuation of buildings between Décarie Blvd. and Mountain-Sights Ave., not far from the Snowdon métro station.
Around 12:30 p.m., police announced that the gas leak had been sealed and that the security perimeter was being lifted.
