Update: Severe thunderstorm watch issued for Montreal region

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the Montreal region Thursday afternoon.
The alert was downgraded from a severe thunderstorm warning to a severe thunderstorm watch for Montreal by 3 p.m.
The agency says intense lightning, heavy rain and large gusts of winds are possible in such storms.
Tornadoes are also a possibility in such storms, Environment Canada said.
