Update: Service resumes on Candiac line after train-car collision

Full service is gradually resuming on the Candiac commuter line after a collision Monday morning between a car and train  forced the shutdown of service between Sainte-Catherine and LaSalle stations.
The incident occurred before 8 a.m. at a level crossing near the Sainte-Catherine station. Officials at the Réseau de transport métropolitain said a car apparently lost control at the crossing and collided with the train, which was not carrying any passengers.
