Update: Perez lambastes response to allegation against borough mayor

The mayor of Villeray—St-Michel—Parc-Extension borough has been accused of harassing co-workers.
Giuliana Fumagalli is a member of Mayor Valérie Plante’s Projet Montréal party.
Plante said that her office learned of the harassment allegations on Thursday. She said she met with Fumagalli the same day and asked her to work at home for the time being. 
“We are taking these allegations very seriously,” she said.
