Update: Mayor Coderre won't intervene in investigation after police HQ raids

Imad Sawaya, chief of staff to Montreal police director Philippe Pichet and the apparent focus of a series of raids carried out by the Sureté du Québec on Thursday has been suspended from duty pending the outcome of an investigation into a fraud and breach of trust investigation concerning overtime claims and bonuses.
