Update: Man dies after stabbing in Ville-Marie borough

A 55-year-old man has succumbed to stab wounds he suffered late Saturday afternoon in an apartment building in the Gay Village.
Police were called to the apartment on Beaudry St., near de Maisonneuve Blvd. in the Ville-Marie borough, around 5:20 p.m. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died overnight.
A 60-year-old suspect was arrested at the apartment. Montreal police spokesperson Andrée-Anne Picard said the suspect is the victim’s brother
