Update: Highway 116 at St-Basile-le-Grand partially reopened after gas main leak

Highway 116 was partially reopened in Saint-Basile-le-Grand, in Montérégie, following an underground gas main rupture around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
The cause of the leak remains unknown.
Motorists can once again travel on Highway 116 going west, but one lane out of two remains closed going east. 
Transport Québec said Thursday night that the road closure will be in place for an indefinite period to allow the Gaz Métro teams to fix the gas pipe.
