Update: 13 men plead guilty in Laval corruption cases
Thirteen people have pleaded guilty in a fraud scheme involving the awarding of municipal contracts in Laval.
The eight businessmen and five engineers entered the guilty pleas in court Tuesday.
Justice James Brunton told a courtroom packed with lawyers and clients that the charges against each of the accused would be read out. The accused would then be asked for their plea on each count.
