Unemployment rate up slightly in November: Statistics Canada

The unemployment rate in the Montreal region rose slightly in November, to six per cent, up from 5.6 per cent in October.
It was at the same level in November 2017.
Despite the increase, more Montrealers were working in November than in October.
The number of jobs in the region rose by 44,500 and the number of people working or actively looking for work increased by 57,800.
