Uber to leave Quebec on Oct. 14 if government doesn't back down
Uber said it’s the end; taxi drivers said good riddance.
That was the reaction to new regulations proposed last week by the government to renew the pilot project it started with Uber a year ago to allow the ride-sharing mobile application, a competitor to the taxi industry.
