Two people, including 6-year-old boy, shot in the West Island

Montreal police are investigating after two people — a six-year-old boy and a man in his 50s — were shot in a West Island home Friday night.
According to spokesperson Manuel Couture, police responded to several 911 calls around 7 p.m. concerning a man in distress in a home near Ste-Marie Rd. and Montrose Drive, which is on the border between Beaconsfield and Kirkland.
