Trudeau Airport promises fewer customs delays
Aéroports de Montréal and Canada Border Services Agency officials say they’re taking steps to reduce delays at customs for passengers arriving from outside the country.
At the core of the plan is a new customs screening area for passengers who are transiting through Montreal. That will divert between 15 and 20 per cent of passengers who would have otherwise gone through customs at the main arrivals hall, the CBSA says.
