Truck kills pedestrian in Montreal North

A 76-year-old woman has died after being hit by a truck on Léger Blvd, east of Langelier Blvd. in Montreal North.
Police say they received a call around 12:10 p.m. notifying them of the accident involving the woman — who witnesses say was attempting to cross the street between two intersections — and the truck, which was backing up in the eastbound lane.
