Trees uprooted as tornado touches down in Beauce

Environment Canada confirmed on Sunday that a moderate-intensity tornado touched down in St-Joseph-de-Beauce during the weekend. 
The episode, which took place around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, was part of a larger storm system that passed over the region. Winds reached 150 km/h and inflicted damage on a stretch extending beyond one kilometre.
