Transfusions don't go on holiday: Héma-Québec launches summer campaign

As National Blood Donor Week comes to an end, Héma-Québec is urging Quebecers to continue donating during summer holiday season.
At least 1,000 blood donations a day are needed to maintain optimal reserve levels. Every 80 seconds, a person needs blood in Quebec.
The organization is therefore launching summer campaign with the help of host Isabelle Racicot, musician Patrice Michaud, actress Sophie Nélisse, and olympic medalists Kim Boutin and Mikaël Kingsbury.
