Three arrested after $80,000 'treasure' revealed as less than golden

Montreal police have arrested three people in connection with an attempted fraud valued at $80,000.
The efforts of investigators from the force’s fraud squad, uniformed officers as well as the skepticism of the alleged fraudsters’ potential victim combined to see Jinlin Zhong, Chunsheng Zhong and Jin Shui Xie appear in court Sept. 14 on charges of conspiracy, fraud over $5,000, and use and possession of a forged document.
Police allege the incident occurred at the beginning of Septem
