Three accidents in four hours leave two dead on Quebec highways

A trio of traffic accidents that occurred over a four-hour period cost the lives of two persons Tuesday night.
The first occurred at 8:45 p.m., when a car collided with a moose near Île-Verte in the province’s Bas-St.Laurent region. The impact spun the vehicle into the opposite lane and it was hit by a truck. The driver of the car, its only occupant, died from his injuries.
