Thousands without power as 100 km/h winds expected in and around Montreal

Environment Canada issued a wind warning Friday for areas in and around Montreal, Laval and Longueuil, as gusts up to 100 km/h may cause tree branches to break or toss loose objects. More than 171,000 Hydro-Québec customers across the province were without power as of 11 p.m.
