Thief steals valuables while homeowner sleeps in the next room

A thief entered a home in Pierrefonds and stole a long list of valuables while the homeowner slept in the next room, Sept. 10.
Montreal Police Constable Daniel Maheu from Station 3 said the victim fell asleep at around 1:30 a.m. while watching television in the living room of her home in De la Diligence St. She was awakened by a noise at around 4:30 a.m. When she entered the kitchen, she discovered the patio door was open so she shut it thinking her daughter was the culprit.
