The Montreal police are looking for a sweet-talking fraud artist who they say seeks out women on dating websites with the goal of stealing their money. 
According to a statement issued by the police on Friday, the man meets women through dating sites like Tinder and Badoo. He claims that he is a foreign student who just arrived in Canada and needs to purchase furniture. He uses a sleight-of-hand trick to convince women that he is depositing a “government cheque” into their bank
