Terror trial update: Djermane not guilty, Jamali convicted on explosives charge

The jury in the trial of Sabrine Djermane and El Mahdi Jamali has found one of the accused not guilty on all four charges and another guilty of only one charge.
Djermane was found not guilty of the four counts she faced, including the charge alleging she wanted to leave Canada to join ISIL.
Jamali was found guilty of a reduced charge that the presiding judge in the trial, Justice Marc David, added as an option while he was instructing the jury.
