Swimmer missing near Vaudreuil

The Coast Guard and firefighters from Pointe-des-Cascades and Pincourt are searching for a man in his 30s who disappeared while swimming near the locks in the Soulanges Canal.
Police in Vaudreuil received a distress call about 6:30 p.m. when one of two swimmers did not re-surface. At the time, he was swimming with another man, who is in his 50s. Police are interviewing the surviving swimmer to learn more about the circumstances, said Sergeant Ann Mathieu of the Sûreté du Québ
