Suspended police chief Philippe Pichet should be fired: city committee

Montreal city council is to vote Monday on the dismissal of suspended police chief Philippe Pichet.
The city’s public security committee voted unanimously to recommend that the provincial government fire Pichet. That was approved by the city’s executive committee on Wednesday morning.
