Stuck in traffic with Montreal mayoral candidate Jean Fortier

Mayoral candidate Jean Fortier spoke about Buddhism, dream cycles and incessant roadwork in a video interview with the Montreal Gazette.
“I like to think that I put my dreams, during the night, to the service of my ideas,” said Fortier. “Quite often at 2 or 3 a.m., I’ll wake up … go write some things, then pass through a REM cycle and then an hour an hour and a half later I’m back to sleep.
“I like to believe that the most important problems that I have
