STM garage sale nets $81,000, proceeds go to charities

Last weekend’s garage sale by the Société de transport de Montréal raised $81,496, which will be divided equally among four local charities: Centraide, PartenaireSanté Québec, the Quebec chapter of the Red Cross and Réchaud-bus, a mobile kitchen that provides meals for underprivileged children.
