STM employs "honour system," allows boarding buses from all doors

Montreal commuters who hold unlimited — meaning weekly, monthly, four-month or yearly — passes are now able to board city buses from both the front and back doors, with certain restrictions.
The new “honour system” allows passengers to board 13 articulated bus lines — those that use longer buses connected by an accordion-style section — from all doors at stops located at metro stations between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. only. 
The program, which the STM started te
