Steel footbridge installed in Dorchester Square

On Friday, workers in Dorchester Square installed a steel footbridge that will go over a parking-garage ramp.Two such bridges are being built as part of an $8.9-million renovation that will see the downtown square expanded and a Victorian-style water fountain installed.Work began in May and was supposed to be finished in November.A city spokesperson could not provide a new completion date.
