Status quo for construction workers' holidays: labour minister

Holidays for construction workers will not change until at least Oct. 30 despite the continuing labour unrest, Dominique Vien, Quebec’s Minister of Labour, announced Wednesday. 
From July 23 to Aug. 5, the province’s labourers will have their annual construction holiday. They will also have regular holidays on June 23, June 30, Sept. 4 and Oct. 9.
